Asham SJ Team kick off the 2023 season in Style!
The Asham Connemaras & Sporthorses Showjumping Team kicked off the 2023 season at the Upper Hunter Show recently with just two horses but both featured in the money!
Asham Double Luck started off in the 80cm class finishing a very close 3rd to his team mate Rosco and then jumped his first 1m class in which he absolutely excelled! We really only took him to introduce him to the Ag Show atmosphere but he stepped up, jumping brilliantly and handled the conditions beautifully. Side show alley was of no consequence and even the fast paced polocrosse match held right beside the arena did not phase him. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this seriously talented young son of Glenormiston Bartley, his scope over a fence is currently unlimited!
Asham Roscommon is still in very portly paddock condition so we only jumped him around the 80cm but in true Rosco style his return to the competition arena was nothing short of perfect. Beaten .3 second he has returned in amazing form!
As a son of Castle Baron we would expect no less!
