Asham Riverman was our very first homebred Connemara Sporthorse, after Asham Slippery but he could be considered a Sportpony!
A beautiful strong and kind hearted youngster we broke him in at home and straight up he showed as much promise, if not more, as Glenormiston Bartley‘s first gelding Highlands Mr Henrysee. We brought him along slowly and the time was worth its weight in gold. He matured into a very exciting young horse!
River was yet another son of Glenormiston Bartley who excelled in everything that we asked of him. Ashley competed him to 1* EA Eventing and PC State Championships and he was as equally talented on the flat as he was over the fences.
He secured multiple wins in both SJ and Eventing and was a member of the NEGS winning team in the 6 bar competition at Coonabarabran Expo clearing 1.40m at the final fence.
HSC commitments meant that we offered him for sale and he now lives with his young rider Harriet in central NSW, with the combination concentrating very successfully on Showjumping.
