Glenormiston Celebration
1997 Grey Mare (Domo Cavallo Praize x Washlands Rebecca by Silver Snow)
HWSD Status: N/N
Registration: #1672
In 2011 I was extremely honoured to be offered the opportunity to purchase Glenormiston Celebration from Sue Clarke. A truly blue blooded mare by the immortal Domo Cavallo Praize and a full sister to Glenormiston Ballycarra, the dam of our amazing ponies Glenormiston Killian and Glenormiston Ballymalloe. Having the kids grow up and be looked after by these two ponies we knew Celebration’s temperament would be exceptional and her breeding and type solid.
Her sire Domo Cavallo Praize was never beaten at a Royal Show winning dozens of championships and supreme championships in hand, under saddle and in harness, he evented in open competition, and was only once unplaced over a 10 year EA eventing career. With an impeccable temperament and amazing ability, he became a legend in Queensland and indeed in Australia and was known as the undisputed King of Glenormiston. He is also renowned as the sire of Feldale Mouse, the Connemara X Thoroughbred Sporthorse who successfully competed internationally with Isabel English.
Glenormiston Celebration is also a full sister to Glenormiston Abbeylara, the dam of Glenormiston Annashee (by Castle Baron), the first Connemara pony ever to travel back to Europe from Australia!
